YMCPRA History Group

Are you interested in history ?

If so, then why not visit the YMCPRA History group website, where you will find information of previous trips, and talks, organised by this very active group. Here you’ll find where the group has visited, both local , and further afield, in the search for facts and figures, political intrigue, and just to have a good day out. Previous visits include Rockingham Castle, the Shuttleworth Collection, Grimsthorpe Castle, and Crowland Abbey to name but a few. The group arranges a varied programme of days outtalks, and events each year, to stately homes, historical sites, guided tours of local towns and villages. While there is the opportunity to extend your knowledge, the emphasis is on a relaxation and informality.
